The Great Migration; a natural phenomenon not to be missed

The Great Migration is one of the most spectacular gatherings on Earth. Over 1 million wildebeest and zebra, along with thousands of warthogs, antelopes and gazelles gather in vast herds to and migrate in a clockwise direction, across the Serengeti-Mara ecosystems.
Covering between 800 to 1,000km on their individual journey along age-old migration routes, hungry predators including lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena are sure to make sure only the strongest survive in this natural spectacle also known as ‘the greatest show on Earth’.
The journey is beset with danger: young calves are snatched by predators, the slow are brought down by prides of lion, brave beasts break legs on steep river slopes, crocodiles take their share of the stragglers, and the weak and exhausted drown. Some make it to their destination in one piece; others do not. But all who do make it to the end will be rewarded.
For those looking to witness the great migration, we have partnered with a number of camps and lodges that are perfectly positioned along the migration route. This ensures guests are able to witness this phenomena in all it's glory.
We custom design itineraries around your dates of travel and group size, so that you get the best experience possible. If you'd like to join us on a migration safari, then please reach out!
